Artis Gil is a neurologist and started painting after finishing training. His wife bought him a painting set for Valentine's Day, after visiting a gallery where paintings were being sold for crazy prices. Artis told his wife "I think I can do this, especially if I don't have to spend that type of money to buy nice works of art". He truly feels a need to paint; it has become a daily part of his life.
