My name is Ron and I live in Canada!  I draw design patterns on 22" by 28" poster board paper.  I have been drawing designs for over thirty years.  I started drawing in my younger years with Spirograph.  I adapted my own method for designs and have put together a collection of artwork called Rons Pen Art.  My website is http://www.ronspenart.com  and my email is ronspenart@shaw.ca.

My drawings are done by hand with pens.  It is called Pen Art. An average drawing may take 60 hours to complete while other drawings may take over 90 hours to complete!  It all depends on how much detail I would put into the drawing!  I do commission work as well, such as the "Emma" drawing and the "9/11" drawing.  I was born in Northern British Columbia and lived in a small community where native art was the local tradition!  Some of my art will have a Native look and other pieces may look Russian or Spanish, etc.  Each drawing is a one of a kind.  I love drawing and hope you enjoy viewing my artwork.

This is my Emma drawing!  I drew this for my grandaughter shortly after she was born. She seemed to like the butterfly on our fridge and the colors in many of my designs I have in frames on the wall.  So I thought I would make her a butterfly drawing and surround it with a pretty design (with lots of pink). She is almost 18 months now.  I added a black background from Photoshop to bring the design out more!

This is my Blue Blossom drawing. This 22" x 28" drawing took about 70 hours to complete using pens! It reminded me of a blossoming flower!
I call this one "Blue Horizon".

This is my Gemini drawing. It took over 85 hours to draw by hand using pens.
This is my Rosario drawing. Again it took over 80 hours to draw. This is pen art.

This is my Starburst drawing.
I call this my Green Blue Vitality or Vitality for short! It took about 70 hours for this design pattern!

I call this one Victorian. It took over 75 hours on this one. It has that colonial look to it from back in Queen Victoria's days!
This is my New York Memorial drawing. This drawing took over 90 hours to complete by hand using pens! It was an emotional drawing I made to honor those who perished and those affected by 9/11.

I call this my Victory drawing.  I named it this for the many V's in the drawing and it was a victory for me as it was a test to see how
black and green blended together!
I call this piece 'Blue Bells'.  It took over 85 hours to complete this drawing using thick poster board paper to get the deeper textures!  The drawing is done on 22" by 28" poster board paper and is about 21" by 21" in actual size!

I call this one 'Crowns of Fantasy'!  Done on 24" by 36" poster board paper and it took over 100 hours to complete using three different colored pens!
I call this one 'Freedom Star' and have also called it 'Americana' on another site, I like 'Americana' better!
